You won’t just see biblical places—you’ll walk them. You'll experience them and your Bible will "come off of the pages" and become more real to you in every way.

This journey is for those who long to engage the Scriptures with heart, mind, and body. Over 11 meaningful days, we’ll trace the footsteps of prophets, apostles, and Jesus Himself—through the Galilee, the Judean wilderness, and into the heart of Jerusalem.

Join us as we travel into a deeper understanding of the Bible by engaging Jehovah God in the land where it all began.

Arrival in Israel: A Mediterranean Welcome

DateTuesday, May 26, 2026

You’ve landed in a place where the stories of Scripture took shape—real locations, real people, real history. As fellow pilgrims arrive throughout the day, you’ll be met and transferred—either individually or in small groups—to your hotel along the Mediterranean coast.

Your Airport Greeter will meet and welcome you in the Arrivals Hall of Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport including a sign with MCC and your name written on it.

Depending on your arrival time and energy, you may choose to take a gentle walk to the Carmel Market, alive with color, local cuisine, and vibrant culture. Or you may prefer a peaceful stroll along the Tel Aviv promenade, where the rhythm of the waves and the sea breeze offer a quiet introduction to the land.

This first day is about arrival—physically and spiritually. There’s nothing to rush. Let your soul settle in.

Jaffa & Caesarea: The Gospel Begins to Go Out

DateWednesday, May 27, 2026

This morning, we begin tracing the early movements of the Gospel. Our first stop is the ancient port city of Jaffa, where Jonah once fled and where Peter stayed with Simon the Tanner—setting the stage for the Gospel to go beyond Israel to the nations. As you walk its narrow alleyways and gaze out over the sea, consider how obedience and calling often meet at the water’s edge.

From there, we journey north to Caesarea Maritima, a striking Roman harbor city built by Herod the Great. It was here that Paul was imprisoned, and from here that he would eventually set sail for Rome. Wander among the ruins of the theater, palace, and aqueduct, and imagine the tension of faith and empire that once filled this place.

We’ll return to the coast for a restful evening, allowing the day’s reflections to take root.

Mount Carmel, Megiddo & Galilee Arrival

DateThursday, May 28, 2026

Today we head north, following the arc of redemptive history into the heartland of Israel. Our journey begins atop Mount Carmel, where Elijah stood alone before the prophets of Baal, calling the people back to the one true God. The view is sweeping, the story unforgettable—a reminder that courage and faith often meet on high places.

We’ll enjoy a traditional Druze lunch before continuing to Tel Megiddo, an ancient stronghold overlooking the Jezreel Valley, long associated with both historical battles and prophetic visions.

A stop at Mount Precipice gives us a panoramic view of Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus. Then, through the quiet Valley of the Doves, we make our way toward Galilee, arriving in the town of Tiberias, where the next chapter of Jesus’ ministry unfolded by the water’s edge.

Meals Provided: Breakfast and Dinner at the hotel

Sleep: Tiberias, Sea of Galilee

Galilee: Ministry and Miracles

DateFriday, May 29, 2026

Wake up to the stillness of the Sea of Galilee, a place where heaven touched earth in the ordinary rhythms of fishing, walking, and teaching. Today, we walk the shoreline where Jesus called His disciples, taught the crowds, and healed the broken.

We begin at the Mount of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount echoed over the hillside, inviting listeners into a new way of living. From there, we visit Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ Galilean ministry, exploring the remains of the synagogue and what is believed to be Peter’s home.

At Tabgha, you may pause to reflect at the traditional site of the multiplication of loaves and fishes. Then, we take to the waters of the Galilee with a private boat ride—an opportunity for prayer, worship, and personal reflection as you float where Jesus once calmed the storm.

Meals Provided: Breakfast and dinner at the hotel

Sleep: Tiberias, Sea of Galilee

Day 6 - Caesarea Philippi, Magdala & the Jordan River

"Who do you say I am?"

DateSaturday, May 30, 2026

Today we head north to the headwaters of the Jordan, where the question of Jesus’ identity was asked in full force: “Who do you say that I am?” At Caesarea Philippi, set against pagan temples and ancient idols, Peter’s bold confession marked a turning point in the Gospel story—and in our own lives of faith.

We’ll return south through the Golan Heights, with its sweeping views and quiet reminders of Israel’s layered history, and stop at Magdala, home of Mary Magdalene. There, you’ll walk the floor of a first-century synagogue and pause in the Encounter Chapel, a sacred space designed for personal prayer and reflection.

The day concludes at Yardenit, a peaceful site on the Jordan River, where those who wish may participate in baptism or spiritual renewal. These waters remind us of new beginnings and the quiet power of consecration.

Ascending: The Jordan, Jericho, Jerusalem

DateSunday, May 31, 2026

Today we leave Galilee behind and begin the journey south, following the path so many pilgrims have taken toward Jerusalem. Our first stop is Jericho, one of the world’s oldest cities and the setting of remarkable biblical moments—from walls that fell to blind eyes opened.

We’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and café, then ascend into the Judean wilderness, pausing at a stunning overlook above St. George’s Monastery, nestled in the cliffs of Wadi Qelt. Here, in the barren beauty of the desert, the silence speaks volumes.

You’ll also walk a short stretch of the ancient Jericho-to-Jerusalem road, evoking the parable of the Good Samaritan and bringing its message of compassion to life.

We end the day on the Mount of Olives, taking in a panoramic view of Jerusalem before descending the path Jesus took, stopping at Dominus Flevit and the Garden of Gethsemane—sacred spaces for stillness, tears, and prayer.

From Manger to Cross: Tracing the Footsteps of Redemption

DateMonday, Jun 1, 2026

The day begins in Bethlehem, where the incarnation of Christ moved from promise to reality. You’ll visit the Church of the Nativity, one of the oldest standing churches in the world, and pause in the Shepherds’ Fields, where heavenly hosts first announced good news to ordinary men under a starlit sky.

In the afternoon, we enter Jerusalem’s Old City through Lion’s Gate, walking the Via Dolorosa, the path traditionally believed to trace Jesus’ journey to the cross. Along the way, we’ll pause at the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the lame man, and the nearby Church of St. Anne, known for its stunning acoustics and peaceful beauty.

The day culminates at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a site held sacred by many as the place of the crucifixion and resurrection. Here, amid layers of history and worship, we’ll reflect on the depth of what happened in these narrow streets and sacred stones.

Meals Provided: Breakfast and Dinner at the hotel

The Final Days: Walking the Path of Sacrifice and Promise

DateTuesday, Jun 2, 2026

Today we return to Jerusalem, diving deeper into the final days of Jesus’ earthly ministry. We begin on Mount Zion, visiting the Upper Room, where Jesus shared His last meal with the disciples, and St. Peter in Gallicantu, the traditional site of Peter’s denial and Jesus’ imprisonment the night before the cross.

After lunch in the Old City, we step onto the Temple Mount, once the center of Jewish worship and the backdrop for many of Jesus’ teachings. We’ll sit on the Southern Steps, where rabbis taught and pilgrims gathered—very likely the place where Peter preached at Pentecost.

We continue to the recently opened Pool of Siloam, where Jesus healed the blind man, and walk a portion of the ancient Pilgrimage Road, the same path Jewish pilgrims would have taken as they ascended to the temple for worship. You are walking not just through history, but into the heartbeat of redemption.

A Quiet Victory: Remembering the Resurrection, Leaving Renewed

DateWednesday, Jun 3, 2026

Our final full day in Israel is one of quiet joy and deep reflection. We begin at the serene Garden Tomb, a peaceful setting just outside the Old City walls. Here, we gather for a time of worship, communion, and prayer—remembering the resurrection not as the end of the story, but the beginning of everything new.

From there, we head to Mehane Yehuda, Jerusalem’s vibrant market, for a local lunch and time to take in the colors, sounds, and flavors of modern Israeli life. The afternoon is yours to spend at a pace that suits you—whether that means returning to Bethlehem for final shopping, revisiting a favorite site, or simply finding a quiet spot to reflect on what this journey has stirred in your soul.

Tonight, we share one last dinner together, carrying home not just memories, but a renewed heart, a deeper understanding, and a living connection to the land of the Bible.

Go filled with joy, walk on in Faith

DepartureThursday, Jun 4, 2026

As your time in Israel comes to a close, we will have prayed that your walk with Jesus has deepened—that your faith has been stretched, strengthened, and renewed. This was never meant to be just a trip. It was a sacred invitation to draw closer to the One who called you long before you ever stepped foot in this land.

You’re not simply going home with photos and souvenirs—you’re returning with something far greater. You’ve walked the land of the Bible, stood where prophets spoke truth with trembling lips, and where Jesus Himself wept, healed, taught, suffered, died, and rose again—for you, that you might have eternal life.

Let the stones and soil beneath your feet now remind you of a special place you have in your heart. Let the Word you’ve seen in three dimensions take root in new ways. And as you return home, may the same Spirit who met you here continue to guide your every step.

May you go in peace, walk in faith, and live in the fullness of Jesus' resurrection life.

Cairo: Tracing the story south into Egypt

From Tel Aviv to Cairo: Crossing into a New Chapter

Today we depart Israel by air and fly south to Cairo, where the biblical story intersects with one of the world’s most ancient civilizations. Egypt is more than a backdrop to the early books of Scripture—it’s a place of exile, refuge, and deliverance. From Abraham to Joseph, Moses to Jesus, this land has long been woven into God’s redemptive narrative.

Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. As the skyline of Cairo rises into view, prepare to experience a land that echoes with both ancient grandeur and everyday vibrancy.

Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the Nile

DateFriday, Jun 5, 2026

Our day begins at the iconic Pyramids of Giza, marvels of ancient engineering that have stood for over 4,000 years. As you stand before the Great Pyramid and the enigmatic Sphinx, consider the generations that have come and gone—and the God who has remained. For those who wish, there will be time to ride a camel at the base of the pyramids—an unforgettable way to take in the scale and story of this timeless landscape.

Next, we visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to one of the world’s most comprehensive collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts—including the famed treasures of King Tutankhamun. As you walk through its modern, thoughtfully curated galleries, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the world into which the people of God were once immersed.

We’ll pause here for lunch on-site at the museum, giving you time to rest and take in the grandeur of your surroundings before continuing into the city.

From there, we step into the present with a peaceful Felucca boat ride on the Nile, Egypt’s lifeline since before the time of Moses. The gentle rhythm of the river invites you to reflect, breathe, and simply be present—watching the city from the water, much as it has been seen for thousands of years.

Cairo—Where the Praise of Coptic Christians Has Risen for More Than 2,000 Years

DateSaturday, Jun 6, 2026

This morning, we explore the historic heart of Old Cairo, visiting Coptic churches that carry deep Christian significance—including sites traditionally associated with the Holy Family’s flight into Egypt. These sacred spaces offer a glimpse into the faith that endured under centuries of challenge and change.

We then ascend to the imposing Citadel of Saladin, where the striking Mohammed Ali Mosque crowns the city. From this high point, you’ll take in sweeping views of Cairo’s skyline, layered with stories spanning thousands of years.

In the afternoon, you’ll have time to roam the lively Khan el-Khalili Market, one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East. Here, you’ll enjoy lunch at a traditional café tucked within the market, surrounded by the sounds, scents, and colors of Cairo’s bustling cultural heart. Afterward, you’ll have time to explore the stalls, connect with local artisans, and find meaningful souvenirs or gifts to carry home. From Promise to Exodus: Returning with Full Hearts

DepartureSunday, Jun 7, 2026

Today we say farewell to Egypt and begin the journey home. You’ve walked the lands of promise and deliverance, traced the steps of prophets and kings, disciples and the Holy Family. From the quiet shores of Galilee to the towering pyramids of Giza, from Jerusalem’s sacred streets to the flowing waters of the Nile, you have experienced the living story of Scripture in a way few ever do.

But while the flights home mark the end of your time on this soil, they are not the end of your pilgrimage. The same God who met you in these ancient places now goes with you into every familiar room and ordinary moment. He is just as present in your hometown as He is on the Mount of Olives, just as powerful in your daily walk as He was on the road to the Red Sea.

We pray you return home changed, rooted, renewed, and full of stories that continue to shape your walk with Jesus.

Trip Travel Insurance

No one ever wants to use travel insurance—just like no one wants to use car or health insurance. It’s something you hope you’ll never need, but when unexpected situations arise—a missed flight, a family emergency, or a sudden illness—you’ll be thankful it’s in place. Travel insurance is your safety net for a rainy day, offering peace of mind so you can focus on enjoying the experience in front of you. Choosing the right travel insurance is a key part of thoughtful trip planning, and it ensures that you’re covered if things don’t go exactly as expected.

general icon

Types of Policies

Travel insurance is not included in the cost of the trip but is strongly recommended by True Hope Travel for travelers to consider.

Medical Insurance (Travel Medical Coverage) - Covers medical expenses incurred while traveling abroad, including emergency care, hospital stays, and sometimes medical evacuation.

Trip Cancellation Insurance - Reimburses non-refundable trip costs if you have to cancel your trip for a covered reason (e.g. illness, injury, family emergency, or natural disaster).

Trip Interruption Insurance - Covers costs if your trip is unexpectedly cut short due to covered reasons, such as a medical emergency or a family situation back home.

Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Insurance - An optional upgrade that allows you to cancel your trip for any reason not covered under standard policies. To qualify, CFAR must usually be purchased within 1–2 weeks of your first trip payment and typically reimburses 50–75% of your trip cost.
